Day 477

A guard came and took my picture today. He said it was "for the records". I never thought my singing was so good that I'd get my picture on the front of my own Album!

Day 476

I started singing today. Admittedly the lyrics were "Is anybody there?" sang in a way that nobody would recognise. At least then the guards won't know what I am saying! I am so smart.

Day 475

I got soaked with a cold bucket of water today. I thought it was a little early for my annual bath, but my "bath tally marks" were on the wall that the elephant knocked over. The guard simply said "that's for shouting". I wonder what I would get for singing?

Day 474

A guard rattled my door today and told me to stop shouting "is anybody there?" because its starting to wind him up. Ha ha, what's he going to do, put me in prison?

Day 473

I've not heard from my dear fellow next door. Lets hope he hasn't moved already. I can't see any light through the holes in the wall. I keep whispering in the hope he'd hear me. Maybe I should try shouting.

Day 472

I was given a light today to brighten my cell up a little. It was installed high up on the ceiling by one of the guards. I asked him how many others were here and he said "Just you" sneered and winked. I know he is lying.

Day 471

I posted a reply back this morning, hoping that my neighbour gets it before he is moved. Why would the guards lie to me about being alone..?? I finally saw the Elephant again today, although he didn't stroll through my cell.
