Had a really long chat with huggy guard today. It meant sacrificing my walk in the courtyard, but we must have chatted for almost an hour! Seems he might be able to help too!

In good spirits today. The letter was so encouraging. Looks like I have a really good friend out there that might be able to help. I think I have a good friend in here too, I'll speak to him tomorrow.

Got a really long letter from my lady friend today. Huggy guard delivered it himself. It had actually arrived this morning, so was a little surprised as it didn't go through the normal checks.

Getting really jittery at the moment. Since the problem with the water, almost every time I step out of my cell, Simon steps out of his office and glances over.

I've just heard that my review has been pushed back. Simon seemed quite cheerful about the subject, although I felt quite down about it really.

I wonder when the review is? Nobody has told me a specific date, and I hate surprises of that type. Makes me nervous.

Wrote a letter to my lady. Seems ages since I've written something. She probably thinks I've forgotten her.

It was a hot day today out in the courtyard. Made everybody a bit more cheerful.

It's getting increasingly coincidental that Simon catches my eye as I come out of my cell for the day's walk. Odd fellow.

After yesterdays cheers, there's been a lot of chat about a pretty lady walking around. Maybe it's me, but I'm not the kind of guy to stand at a door oogling just any woman that passes. Sigh, it's time like this I miss my wife.

Heard a load of whistles and cheers, and just caught sight of a woman walking through the corridors! Don't often see women in here! Couldn't catch who it was. Wonder what she is here for?

Not much happened today. Makes a change I guess.

One of the guards came in today and told me that my review was coming up soon. Told me to be on my best behaviour for a while and that it might help. Made me start thinking about any time's I hadn't been on my best behaviour?

When I took my stroll today, I noticed how Joe seemed to be out on the same walk as the rest of the "kitkat" crowd. I would have thought they would be split up now?

Getting increasingly uncomfortable in my cell at the moment. I can't really complain - what's the good of a comfortable cell? That wouldn't teach criminals their lesson would it?

Stuffed the vent up with some blank diary pages. Simon came in moments later and told me that blocking the vent was a fire risk. How did he know so soon ?

Noticed how cold it is in the cell since the new air vent was added. Might try and find a way to block it up.

Bumped into 2J again today. Managed to have a bit of a laugh with him over a few anomalies. Looks like we’re becoming friends.

It’s becoming noticeably coincidental that Simon comes out of his office the same time I head out of my cell for my walk. Or I’m starting to lose it.

2J told me he has a new red floor because of his flooding. It took them all week to paint it. How strange. Glad red paint didn't drip through.
