Told huggy guard about the information, who took the information away with interest.  He had a wry smile on his face, he probably knows the people involved.

Came back smelling of smoke after the walk. That was an interesting meeting with my neighbour, who seemed to provide me with some interesting information about a planned break involving about 5 people on section 3. I don't know who are in which cell, but I will inform huggy guard tomorrow.

Received two "letters" today. One from my lady friend, who was simply apologising for not writing so much recently, because of a private "out of work" project is taking up her time. The other from my neighbour saying that I should stand by the smokers shed when we go for our walk tomorrow.

Wrote my neighbour a note. I thought I'd ask more about his "plan" to get him to talk more. Might be worth talking to the guard about his discovery, although he did tell me to keep quiet if I wasn't "in". Wonder what he meant by that?

Didn't hear much from huggy guard about my note. I guess everything is in hand. Haven't heard much from my neighbour, so might slip him a friendly note back. Have to think what to say.

"Plum and Apple Compote!" ,(with custard), according to Simon. I am starting to warm to him a little, as he's getting more chatty. Not sure if he broke a rule today, but he told me about his family. Thought we weren't allowed to hear about the guards private lives?

Was relieved to find out that Big Derek is on a different walk schedule that our section. It felt nice to not have to look over my shoulder on the walk. My lady was there waving, which was nice. She seemed to have another warm smile on her face, so reassuring.

Gooseberry Pie and Custard. I was amazed how much custard there was, although I must admit that the cook is doing well thinking of new fillings. Not had any odd combinations yet.

Gave the note to huggy guard. He didn't seem to be that bothered about it, as I expected him to be, and he took the note for consideration. Saw big Derek walking away from Solitary with an evil grin on his face. I know how he feels, it's cold in there!

Walks today were delay until 8pm. Felt odd walking around in a floodlit Courtyard. I couldn't see very well, but it looked like somebody was still in my lady's office. The floodlights were just in the wrong place to see properly.

Simon came to my cell today with my lunch and shoved it through like he wanted it to spill on the floor. It was stodgy rice, so falling on the floor might have repaired some of this concrete.

I got a note from my neighbour today. It simply read "I have a plan. If you are in then reply, if you are not in then stay silent" I might mention it to huggy guard.

An odd thing happened today and I wasn't sure what to make of it. Huggy guard came to bring my lunch today, and walked in with it instead of passing it through the hatch. And then he sat with me with the door open. Odd.

She saw me today, and gave me a very warm smile. Looks like the weather is turning, so the warm smile was very welcome.

I saw my lady again today. Although I don't think she saw me. I waved but it looked like she was looking amongst the other prisoners. Maybe she didn't see me?

Heard a tapping noise from my "neighbour" last night. Sounded like he was tapping my wall. I tried to tap back and make it known that I had heard him, but a guard came along and told me to go back to sleep.

Our section got a lot of jeers from Section 3 today as we made our way to the courtyard for our stroll. Not sure what that was about.

Its nice having a range of desserts provided each day. Trying to count the different options before they repeat, although so far everything is with custard.

Apple Crumble. There was no warning about the introduction to these puddings. Nice though. Worried about my friend. Not seen or heard from her all week.

Simon was a little talkative to me today. Started off asking about general things, but then threw in a question about other inmates that I couldn't answer. Wonder what he is up to?

Bananas and Custard. Odd thing is, for as long as I remember, we've never been supplied a dessert.

Not seen my lady for a few days now, and I am wondering if my new walk schedule is at a different time to her breaks. Still not heard from her either.

Its odd hearing noises from the other side of me now instead of just block 3. I kind of miss being on my own, but in a way its nice knowing there are others around me.
